What Happened The Year You Were Born?

I happened to Stumbleupon an amazing website: http://whathappenedinmybirthyear.com/
It's brilliant.
I was born in the year 1988, so that's what I entered. A lot of my blog visitors are born in the year 1988 itself, so this may really interest you.
Others can try this site out for themselves.

In 1988, the world was a different place.
